Dog Meadow Light

The light usually appears on the northwest horizon and northeast of the area known as "Dog Meadow", a marshy lowland that is about thirty miles from Eagle River. The light is said to appear as a white, glowing orb and sometimes it changes to red. It is also said to occasionally break off into two smaller lights. According to reports from the region, the lights can be seen almost any clear night of the year. |
