Are any of the star systems in 'Star Trek' real such as 'Veridean' or 'Amagosis'?

Most of the star systems mentioned in TV science fiction programs are imaginary, with the exception of only a few. I guess the script writers try to render the names of the stars and planetary systems in the vernacular of the inhabitants of its worlds to give it realism. It only makes sense. I suppose for planetary systems that are not inhabited, standard english designations are used such as 'Delta Vega' presumably the 4th planet orbiting the star Vega, and so on. I think it would be far more fun if they would use conventional names so that we can chart where each episode takes place in the familiar skies over our heads!
