Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle, the cow jumped over the Moon. The little dog laughed to see such sport, and the dish ran away with the spoon.
Well, aside from the obvious reference to the Moon, it's always difficult to know for certain what the author had in mind. There are no constellations that readily correspond to a fiddle, a cat, a cow, a dish or a spoon, so we would have to use our imagination to uncover these items among the known constellations. Cows, bulls and the constellation Taurus seem to go together, as do a cat, a lion and the constellation Leo. As for the rest, its anyone's guess. But even after you have come up with assignments that seem to make sense, you have to ask yourself what in the world the poem's author could possibly be trying to say with whatever mapping you come up with!
