Every Full Moon has its own name in American folklore. But because there are not an integer number of lunar cycles in every year ( 29.53 days for a lunar synodic month) x 12 does not equal 365 days, there will occur every three years or so a month with TWO Full Moons. The second one of the month is called the Blue Moon. The next Blue Moon will occur on July 30, 1996 if you live in England, or on June 30th if you live in North America. The last two occurred on September 30, 1993 and December 31, 1990.
