There is no such astronomical phenomenon. It seems that this has to do with some nonsense at some web sites ( use Alta Vista to find them!) that in 1961, satellites detected a wave of electromagnetic energy rushing towards Earth from the Pleiades star cluster. They also assert that the Sun orbits the Pleiades every 24,000 years and that according to channelers, that when this 'phenomenon' reaches Earth, it will cause the 'Rapture' predicted by the Book of Revelations.
