Where can I get the image of a star located at a particular sky location?

Try visiting the Palomar DIgital Sky Survey. It lets you enter a sky coordinate or name of an object, and in a minute it will deliver a GIF image that you can download and tinker with. Its like having your own 40-inch Schmidt Cassegrain telescope at your command...the only problem is that the observations were actually made in the 1940's!
