The ring system of Saturn apparently contains lots of dust grains which were detected when the Voyager spacecraft passed through the ring plane. These dust grains can become photoelectrically charged, and it is still believed that the shadowy 'spokes' you can se in close up views of the ring system are clouds of dust particles that are electrostatically levitated above the ring plane.
