What do you really think about UFOs?

Unidentified Flying Objects are very common.

I have seen many myself, some rather peculiar in fact, so I have no doubt that they exist given that NONE of us ever spends any time trying to rationally and systematically identify what they are. Plus we really do not know what the air force is doing in developing new 'stealth' aircraft flying at night over semi-populated areas.

BUT, I am not willing to accept that these are alien beings and their space craft, given that there is no concrete evidence other than anecdotes that they exist. Why are more people so passionately interested in 'UFOLOGY' and practically ignorant or bored with the concrete discovery of planets around other stars or the possibility of microfossils on Mars? Is there some other 'psychological' process going on here? Today's demons and angels are called aliens from other worlds. Again, we insist on feeling special in this universe, and too often hang our hopes on others saving us from our own actions.
